How does one get hooked in this sport? Well for our Kennel, it started with Nathan's mother finding him a job when he came back from college on breaks. Nathan started off just helping here and there with odd kennel chores. Trust us there's a lot of work to maintain a healthy and happy kennel. At this job Nathan quickly got addicted to the sport. This led him to the great state of Alaska. Where dog sledding is the state sport and truly has a rich culture. Nathan worked for Alaska Icefield Expedition where he slowly collected his best friends. The start of the kennel was with the addition of Gannon and Shredder. Both of these dogs are at the heart of our kennel. The following year, Violet and Yangtzee also joined our kennel. Fast forward, Nathan met Katelyn and quickly became Natelyn and the two have been inseparable ever since. And of course, continuing to add to our family in addition to our fur babies we have two wonderful boys who are learning the responsibility of running a kennel.
